Some of my values
01
Compassion
I’ll listen with empathy and provide compassion and support. But more importantly, I can help you cultivate self-compassion. Self-compassion isn’t giving yourself a pass; it’s a practice of accepting your human-ness and giving yourself grace as you learn, grow, and change.
02
Curiosity
Yes, I’m curious about all aspects of what it’s like to be you—but I also want to spark your curiosity about you. Your thoughts, feelings, body sensations, beliefs, and behavior patterns all tell a story. When we get curious about these stories, we can rewrite them — or create new ones.
03
Advocacy
Trauma-informed care means nothing if it doesn’t also include activism and advocacy for/with those who have been harmed by oppressive and violent systems. I also help clients to advocate for themselves and enlist support when needed.
